157 - 159 East 35th Street - NYC - December 2009 . . . These two buildings were originally carriage houses, built c.1890. 157 was the longtime studio of sculptor Malvina Hoffman, who died there in 1966. Her works include the sculpture at the American Cemetery in Vosges, France, the site of WWII's Battle of the Bulge.
