The spacious villa has an expressionist formal language and is architecturally designed in the style of a stately English country house. On the basis of the elaborate decorative elements and their formal language, the building's origin can be dated to the second half of the 1920s. The luxuriously cut structure with its dark red clinker bricks and white joints picks up on the brick architecture that was widespread in Potsdam around the 18th century, which was further developed and designed in a contemporary style. The living space on the ground floor, which is characterised by a close connection to the garden, is further enlarged by a stylish wing on the western gable side and an enchanting conservatory on the south side. The Beletage is followed by the high gabled roof, artistically constructed over two floors, with two impressive avant-corps diaphragm houses on the long sides. The south side facing the garden is characterised by a richly windowed area and is flooded with daylight and the lush green of the surroundings. The interior of the connoisseur property, like its exterior appearance, is characterised by great attention to detail and offers all the comforts of home on a living area of approx. 230 m². The ground floor is characterized by fine parquet flooring, historical style elements and a style true to the original. Through the outsourced foyer you enter the aesthetic entrance area, which offers space for an extensive wardrobe. To the left of the entrance area is the kitchen, with its decorative tiles and attached pantry. The hallway along the historic staircase leads to the representative living area, consisting of a spacious library, which is directly connected to the magnificent living room. From there, access is also possible to the charming dining room and the fully glazed conservatory. With the exception of the library, all common rooms face south with a view of the gorgeous garden. Before entering the living area, the elegant hallway makes a bend to the left. From there you reach the first floor via the handcrafted staircase. On entering the first floor you will be welcomed by the comforting familiarity and tranquillity typical of English country houses. The lovingly designed private area is transformed into a wonderfully secluded retreat by the comfort of the playful dwarf houses, long planks and panelled dormers. Artfully crafted box-type double windows and historic wall cupboards add extra splendour and make cosy hours with the family an unforgettable experience. All rooms are accessible from the corridor. To the left of the staircase, in the diaphragm house on the north side, there is a particularly cosy bedroom which fascinates by house-in-house character and makes ideal use of the space under the curved slopes. On the opposite south side is the long children's room and music room. Half left and half right of the hallway are the two impressive master bedrooms of the villa. Situated on the north-eastern side, the room is enchanting not only because of its sheer size, with high ceilings and a masterly dormer window. The south-east facing bedroom is even more spacious with the same ceiling height and is also superbly appointed with an en-suite dressing area and stunning balcony. On the top floor of the main house there is a very well kept attic and a former servant's room. The building substance as well as the technical installations are in a good condition and have been continuously modernized in the last years. Up to and during 2006 the drains and pipes in the kitchen and the bathrooms were renewed, the roof was partly freshly covered, a new chimney head was added and a gas condensing boiler was purchased. In the period up to 2012, the roof drainage was renewed and one of the two waste water lines was replaced together with all heating valves. The road to the house was completely rebuilt in 2012. Large parts of the building fabric and the garden were classified by the monument authority as worthy of preservation in terms of urban planning, science and art.
